Dr. Todd Hall
Quantitative Research Scientist
Dr. Todd Hall is a Quantitative Research Scientist at Gibson with seven years of experience in education research and program evaluation. He has cleaned and analyzed large-scale survey data to describe teacher workforce issues, understand parent preferences, and evaluate the causal impacts of discipline policy. Dr. Hall is especially interested in the outcomes of historically underserved students such as students of color and students with disabilities. As a graduate student, he led data analyses and reports for the Virginia Department of Education, the Wake County Public School System, and Richmond Public Schools. His research has been published by Education Finance and Policy and funded by the National Science Foundation. Prior to graduate school, Dr. Hall interviewed and supported teachers at an education technology nonprofit and managed state and local research partnerships at MIT. Aside from his PhD, Dr. Hall holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Virginia and a BA in Political Economy from Williams College.
